After reaping the benefits of a plant-based diet for over 18 years and through four healthy pregnancies, Sahrah decided it was time to share the joy of good health, great food, and plant-based nutrition with the rest of the world. As a Food for Life instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Sahrah unites her passion for teaching, cooking, and eating to empower and encourage others to seek a healthier lifestyle by making simple, yet delicious dietary changes. Sahrah enthusiastically demonstrates how plant-based eating is not just another fad, but a scientifically proven approach for weight management and disease reversal.
Math teacher by day and nutrition and cooking instructor by night, Sahrah created Minds on Meals to help people transition to a vegan or plant-based diet. Studies have shown the wonderful effects of a plant-based diet. Sahrah helps clients apply the science in an economical, time-saving, and tasty way.
In her free time, Sahrah loves to bake and recreate low-fat, vegan comfort food for her family and friends. When Sahrah isn’t teaching, she also enjoys reading and sewing.
